I will probably change the coolant again in two years. When I bought it car had 115000 KM's and was 5 years old.

So it looks like 2EF5 = New Thermostat:P Also the coolant I drained was almost clear:S Which id say means its probably never been changed and and all the anti-freeze has just died lol Shame on BMW, before I bought the car it had a full service history from BMW.
OK, have replaced thermostat, cleared the code, its been two days now and the code hasn't come back.
